High Heels and Comfort: Myth or Reality?

"Heels always hurt," "You have to suffer to be beautiful"… Really?
Absolutely not and I’m living proof!
I love high heels. But painful feet? No, thank you.
And I know I’m not the only one. So yes, it is totally possible to stand tall in beautiful heels, feel elegant, feminine… and perfectly comfortable in your shoes!
I'm also a very picky customer my feet hurt easily, I test everything, and in my own collection, comfort is a top priority. Let me explain:
1. Why do heels have such a bad reputation?
Because we instantly think of pain and discomfort sometimes just minutes after putting them on. And with good reason: heels that are too high, poor design, rigid materials...
The result? Blisters, burning feet, and a wobbly walk (sound familiar?).
2. The secrets to truly comfortable heels
The ideal height is often between 5 and 7 cm (without a platform). But if you love towering heels no problem! A discreet front platform can give you extra height without sacrificing comfort.
And above all: material quality matters. Soft leather makes all the difference it molds to your foot, doesn’t hurt, lets it breathe, and becomes a second skin over time. Nothing like stiff synthetic materials that trap heat and cause blisters.
3. Tips for wearing heels without pain
Try them on at the end of the day, when your feet are slightly swollen.
Break them in gradually before the big day (wedding, party, etc.).
Ironing or cooking at home? Slip on your heels during that quiet moment walk a few steps with no pressure. It’s a simple and effective way to get your feet used to them.
A little pressure point? A well-placed blister patch can help during the first outings the leather will adapt painlessly.
4. What about my own journey?
After more than 20 years dressing brides and seeing them struggle to find the perfect shoe stylish and comfortable I wanted to create what I couldn’t find elsewhere.
